Throughout Christian history, lighting candles was considered a sacred ritual. Today as in the past we too light a candle for many purposes: to illuminate darkness, dedicate prayers, solidify intentions, offer blessings, remember the sick and pray for those that are less fortunate than ourselves. To light a candle, move your mouse over any flame, then move the flame to an unlit candle. This works best on a mobile device in landscape mode.
